Evansville Greenhouse Gas Inventory (2023)

A GHG inventory is an analytical report used by local governments to measure and track the amount of GHGs emitted within the community and from municipal operations. The City of Evansville initiated this inventory to establish a baseline of emissions, identify major sources, and inform strategies for reducing the city’s carbon footprint.

Evansville will conduct a bi-annual greenhouse gas inventory, equipping us with a clear, data-driven understanding of our emissions, enabling the city to continue to set measurable reduction targets and track progress towards our climate action goals.
